Anthony Pappalardo, 50-50, NYC (presumably). I don’t know who shot it. He’s always one of the most interesting skateboarders around in his approach to what can and cannot potentially be skated; his choice of obstacles imply a rare intelligence in terms of reading urban space and adapting to it. (You could quite easily piece together a PhD on the reclamation and recontextualisation of “public space” via street skateboarding … or not … )
"Skateboarding doesn’t have to always be about tricks, the idea where everything is focused around how hard a trick is, seems so ridiculous at this point. Skateboarding is so much more than that."
